Donate to Help Cyndi :)
Cyndi is 31 yrs old & is currently fighting melanoma (skin cancer) which has spread to her lungs. Along with her supportive husband, Ian and 2 beautiful children, Wyatt (2 yrs old) and Kate (1yr old) Cyndi is fighting this awful disease with determination, strength, prayer and even a little humor. Her and her family are in need of any help you can give, so please donate what you can to assist them in the many costs which include traveling to and from treatment, food, child care, etc. Thank you for taking the time to give and God Bless.

Hi Cyndi,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Jess. We've never met, but through a friend I saw of your troubles on facebook, and I wanted to do what I could to help and offer the support of my prayers and any help I can give. I'm an RN out here in california, and while I don't have a lot of professional experience with cancer, I've been on this journey with my dad since 2008 (colo-rectal cancer metastasized to his lungs, liver, lymph system, and bladder). We've been through a lot and have learned a lot along the way. If there's any advice I can offer (strange ways of helping with chemo side effects or effects of the cancer or anything), or just an objective ear to lend for crying or venting about random issues and you don't want to keep bugging friends (though I can guarantee you aren't even though it feels that way), please let me know. The first piece of random stranger friendly advice I can offer is for the nausea associated with chemo, my dad's favorite thing i fos dark chocolate. We all carry the little Hershey's Special Dark mini's with us, and when he starts having nausea issues, he'll eat one and it helps tons. Best wishes, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
~Jess
